June 4-5, Maine Fiber Frolic, Windsor
A celebration of fiber animals and fiber arts: spinning, weaving, dyeing, felting and rug hooking. June 12, Old Port Festival, Portland

June 16-19, Blistered Fingers Family Bluegrass Festival, Sidney

June 18-20, Annual Lupine Festival, Deer Isle
Live music, art, sculpture and quilt contests and shows, a giant yard sale, private garden tours by bus and the “Lupine Loop” driving map to locate fields in bloom. Free lupine seeds, lupine-themed art and children’s events at the Deer Isle Opera House. Lots of entertainment from street performers to jazz and rock and roll. Most events are free. June 21-22, 49th Annual Windjammer Days Festival, Boothbay Harbor

June 24-26, La Kermesse Festival Franco-Americaine, Biddeford and Saco

July 15, 7th Annual Maine Windjammer Parade, Rockland

July 24, Open Farm Day, throughout Maine
Over 100 farms throughout Maine will be open to the public. Visit a farm and see what farm life is all about. Watch farm activities and demonstrations from milking to felting, pet farm animals, pick berries, tour a barn, go on a hayride or enjoy a picnic feast. August 6-7- MS Bike to the Breakwater, Standish
Hundreds of riders will participate in this bike tour to benefit multiple sclerosis. Riders can choose either the 50 or 75-mile ride through the picturesque Lakes Region.
